Ten pieces with 10 mg of THC each, the maximum per-serving and per-package amounts New York allows for adult-use edibles. A 100MG (20-Pack) holds twenty 5 mg pieces. The product page shows the per-piece number, which is the one to dose by.

The proportion of THC to other cannabinoids in each piece. A 1:1 THC:CBD gummy has equal amounts of both; a 1:1:1 adds a third, often CBN. The THC number still sets the strength, while the added cannabinoids change the character of the experience. Labels list each one in milligrams.

Mainly texture and how the dose is divided. Gummies and soft chews are pre-portioned pieces; chocolate bars are scored into squares; crispy treats and bars are single items you cut yourself; sauces and oils are dosed by the spoonful. With anything you portion yourself, measure rather than estimate.

The kind of extract used to infuse it. Live resin and live rosin are made from fresh-frozen flower and keep more of the plant's aroma compounds, and solventless means the extract was pressed without chemical solvents. They are not stronger at the same milligram dose; the appeal is flavor and a fuller cannabinoid profile.

Check the date on the package; most gummies keep for months but lose texture and some potency over time, and chocolate can bloom or melt. Store sealed, cool, and dry, and keep them in the child-resistant packaging, since they look like ordinary candy.
